Kitekite Falls is located in the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park, about a 15-minute walk from Piha Beach. The three-tiered waterfall has a height of 40m.
Getting to the falls takes about 25 minutes. From the Glenesk Rd parking,there are two routes — one that leads to the base and another that leads to the the top of the falls. Most of the walk was easy but there are some parts where you will need to cross over rocks and walk along cliff-side inclined roads. When you get to the base, there is a swimming hole with clean, fresh water so you might want take a towel with you for a quick dip.
